Questions

Is it just me or is the executive branch of our federal government holding the rest of our government hostage in order to secure funding for a project that has nothing to do with the day-to-day operation of our government?

Isn't that blackmail?

Regardless of your political viewpoint are 'We The People' going to tolerate an elected public servant to blackmail us?

Build the wall. Don't build the wall. This has nothing to do with the day-to-day operation of our federal government and should not be a part of the operational budget. The partial shut down of our government, the laying off of thousands of federal employees and requiring essential federal employees to work without pay is a failure on the part of our elected public servants to do their jobs. Or should I say the failure of the executive branch to approve the operational budget and keep our government open is a failure to do the job they were elected to do?
