Hank was
the strongest man in Bilton. He
stood six feet six inches tall, broad shouldered and muscular, a mountain of a
man with a heart a gentle as the soft caress of a springtime rain. Anyone and everyone could count on him
to lend a hand, whether it was to help clean up trees knocked down from a
summer storm or to sip make believe tea with the neighbor girl while her mother
ran to the store.
On the day
of his thirtieth birthday he packed up and left, no longer content to being the
strongest man in town.
