A couple
of years ago, my friend invited another friend and myself over to explore the
wonderful world of making garden art and pots out of a substance called Hypertufa.
We had a lot of fun doing the project and my creation;
a toadstool shaped fairy house has enjoyed a spot in one of my shade gardens
during the summer months since. It’s
been a great source of inspiration for some of my stories in addition to adding
a little bit of whimsical charm to a quiet corner of the yard.
On quiet nights
when the moon is full, if I close my eyes and listen I can almost hear the
faint music of the fairies and pixies as they dance among the flowers and ferns
celebrating the joy of summer.
