Today we are enjoying the first major snow storm of the season.  We have roughly three inches of snow on the ground and more is falling as I type.  It is really beautiful to look out into the back yard and see everything covered in white.  It brings back memories of a childhood spent outside as much as possible, sledding, building snowmen and lying in the snow creating snow angels.  I just might indulge my inner child and spend some time out in the yard or maybe I will will just make myself a cup of hot chocolate and cozy up on the couch with a good book.  Either way it is a good day to put aside the mantel of responsibilities for a couple of hours and enjoy the beauty and peace of falling snow.
